Come to Shinjuku If You Love Aogashima! An Event Filled with Passion from Its Fans
The website Aogamiray (https://www.aogamiray.com/), which focuses on the people of Aogashima, has been gaining a lot attention since its inception. Many fans outside of the island wanted to host an offline event where they could meet up.
As a result, they planned an event held on December 9th in Shinjuku, Tokyo, at Aogashima-ya, a place where they could enjoy sake and traditional food from Aogashima while mingling and interacting with people from the island.

When the event was published online for visitors to see, the allotted number of tickets for the event were quickly sold out. The website's members and operational staff were quite surprised to see this happen. They could feel the passion and interest the island's fans had for the place.

Those who had been to the island talked about their fond memories of their travels while those who hadn't listened as their interests piqued. One could hear participants becoming excited and inviting each other to visit the island.

The website operational staff asked the participants who are supporters of the island to check out the website and its associated social media accounts. Many of the participants quickly checked and looked at the now updated accounts. Scheduled for two hours, the event quickly ended as people passionately talked about the island.
