Monitor tour consisting of a pair of foreigners was conducted

In Miyakejima, in order to substantiate the initiative ideas discussed during the FY 2018 meetings, a monitor tour consisting of a pair of foreigners was conducted from February 27 to February 29, 2020. The two were surprised that it only took 50 minutes from Chofu Airfield and how Mt. Fuji was on the right-side of the view. When they visited the volcano, they mentioned the mystique, beauty, and violence of nature. Using the nature guide and chartered taxi, the two were able to fully enjoy life with a volcano. They said that next time, they would like to visit during the summer to enjoy snorkeling and swimming in the waters. On the other hand, they said that it would be nice if the activities that can be enjoyed each season was communicated in a way that is easy to understand, confirming the existence of challenges.

The plan that goes around places dealing with volcanic activities with a nature guide introduced at the Miyakejima Tourism Association was great, and the Shichito Observatory where the ocean and the volcano can be seen simultaneously was a special experience.

All of the food was delicious, but the two especially liked the Italian restaurant "Ritano." The dishes that used Miyakejima's fresh vegetables and fish were all unique and crafted to perfection, truly making it a hidden gem.

Before leaving the island, the photos taken on the smartphone were printed using the machine. The two were amazed at how the photos were printed quickly and were very satisfied with the quality of the prints.
