A study session on the "dark sky conservation area" and a location hunt for a monitor tour limited to two people held

In Kozushima, in order to substantiate the action ideas decided at the FY 2018 island meetings, they held a study session on the "dark sky conservation area" and a location hunt for a monitor tour limited to one pair. For the tour, it was decided that on top of the fishing village experience and water tour that were discussed in last year's island meetings as part of the five action ideas, the possibility of realizing an experience that ties together the starry skies and the water of Kozushima would be verified. From now on, the detailed plans of the tour and the confirmation and adjustments by members of the island meeting will take place to prepare for the monitor tour.

The ladies division of the fishing cooperative at the port was toured to get a glimpse of fish preparation. The moray eel was slightly grotesque, but it was split open, sun-dried, and then fried. It had a delicate and delicious taste.

The swimming area that makes use of the natural cove has no beach, so people dive in from the rocks straight into the ocean. The Akasaki Walking Path is a unique construction and at night, it transforms into a star gazing sight.
